Your Mail

Dear Jonathan,

You’ve announced a brand new CD will be made available in the autumn. I’m curious: your website is frightfully outpubDated and it looks like you’re still hawking Arousal Disasters. Do you need help?

Sincerely,
A Web Fan

Dear AWF,

Yes, I’m aware that the site is still themed for AD. It takes a lot of time and effort to change these things so I enlisted the help of Wondershop.ca and applied for financial assistance from VideoFACT in the form of PromoFACT.

The good people at VideoFACT decided that the site was just darned good enough and didn’t need to be changed and hence, declined assistance funding.

While we appreciate the vote of confidence, we respectfully disagree and intend to continue applying in the hopes that they’ll take us seriously.

Yours,
Jonathan & Wondershop.ca

This is a NXNE event so it’s free with a wristband, $6 otherwise.

2 Sets: 8pm & 10pm. Also on the bill Anhai (a throat singer).

Album Off To The Plant

Yes, it’s true: “Thanks To Science, We’ve Got Love” is being sent to the manufacturing plant tomorrow. 13 songs of unbridled whatever including a cover of the song “I Will Wait For You”.

The album should be available on CDBaby.com, Maplemusic.com and probably iTunes, Amazon.com, etc. More details when it’s actually available. Meanwhile, feast your eyes on the cover:

Strike A Chord Not A Woman – The V-Day Men Concert

Not Dead Yet

Hi. I’ve been taking a break from doing anything actually productive and working for Bruce Mau Design for the past year. I finished up there a few weeks ago and there are things afoot.

First, thanks to everyone who keeps pestering me to do something. Second, there’s an album that’s been done for over a year now but I haven’t figured out how I want to release it. It’s working title is “Thanks To Science, We’ve Got Love.”

Finally, there’s a benefit that I’ll be helping out with by playing on March 10. It’s for V-Day (Vagina Monologues) and it’s called “Strike A Chord, Not A Woman.” Tickets are available from TicketWeb.ca.

More uppubDates soon.

Jonathan
